So you are thinking about adopting a rescue dog. Good for you! The rewards are amazing :-) I have rescued and adopted out many dogs over the years and it is the most rewarding thing in my life, next to my family. I took a 3 year hiatus from rescue/fostering when I had my daughter but stayed active in the rescue community by referring out and occasionally taking a dog here or there. I am not yet ready to jump 100% back into it yet (still waiting for my 4 year old daughter to get a little older before we have too many new animals around the house) so I may not always have a dog available. For this reason, I've listed links to other sites below.

Every dog I rescue is spayed/neutered, evaluated by a professional trainer and in a home setting. There is an adoption contract, an adoption fee and a home evaluation required.

MJ - 5 month old Min Pin

5 Month old male, neutered Min Pin. He loves women and children but a little afraid of men. He "sings" and gets along well with cats. The owner adopted him out of a shelter and now her 4 year old son has developed allergies and asthma problems. He is in owner's home while looking for a new family to love.

Janet - 3 year old Min Pin

3 year old, diabetic, female, spayed Min Pin. She loves kids and other cats and dogs and is very friendly.

Her owner has been placed in a nursing home and she is in immediate need of a foster or forever family. This is a special needs dog as she will need constant monitoring of her diabeties.
